Wednesday 2 May – Talk/Slide Show by Colin Varndell at 7.00 p.m. in the Village Hall on local nature (plants, flowers, garden wildlife, etc.). Tickets £6.50 from Sally Parker on 01308 897168 to include a sausage casserole supper.
Saturday 19 May – Quiz and Fish & Chip Supper with Simon Cleveland at 7.00 p.m. in the Village Hall. Tickets £6.50 from Sally Parker on 01308 897168.
Saturday 26 May – Garden Party and Plant Swap at 2.00 p.m. at the New Inn (garden and marquee in car park). Free admission.
Sunday 3 June – Diamond Jubilee Service at 11.00 a.m. in St Martin’s Church, followed by light refreshments in and around the church.
Monday 4 June – Diamond Jubilee Celebration at 2.00 p.m. in the Village Hall and adjacent field with marquee and live music. Free admission.
Saturday 30 June - St Martin's Church Fete. In and around the Village Hall.
Saturday 28 July – Village Show (plants, flowers, vegetables, cakes etc.) at 2.00 p.m. at the Village Hall. Free admission.
A Saturday in August – Race Night (horseracing) in the Village Hall. Further details to be advised.
Saturday 1 September – Village Walk. Meet at the New Inn car park at 10.30 a.m.
Saturday 6 October – TV Theme Night at 7.00 p.m. in the Village Hall. Further details to be advised.

Wednesday 5 December – Christmas Bingo (SGVS joint event with SGVHT) at 7.30 p.m. in the Village Hall. Free admission.
Thursday 6 December – Village Coach Trip to Exeter for Christmas shopping. Leaving from the New Inn car park at 10.00 a.m. Cost to be advised.
